Chinese self-defence?

Remember those ancient Chinese martial arts movies? Well forget ‘em, nowadays it’s apparently all about very large implements of pain. Like this strange looking thing, which seems to incorporate a Tazer-like 800,000 volt shock device, a flashlight and if you’re really under pressure looks like it could club a full grown grizzly senseless. Priced at 980.00 somethings (‘cause my translation won’t tdkicdnslate enough.)

The Braille Book.

Sergio Trujillo’s Braille Book (or bBook) is an electronic book for the blind that looks interesting. Faintly iPod like, it raises and lowers small nodules to simulate the Braille language. It’s got rechargeable batteries and uses Bluetooth to grab it’s eBook material. Nice idea indeed, but is it a better option than audio books? Only time and the customer reaction will tell.
