YouTube does Hulu – and so the seventh dimension pops into existence…

Wow, colour me late to the party, but YouTube now does television and movies? No way! Way? Wow! Not just cheesy Net knock-offs either, but also fave mainstream TV stuff like The IT Crowd, Fawlty Towers and Wallace & Gromit. Sure the video quality ain’t comparable to Voddler or regular broadcast, but hey, it’s free and stuff. DIY Aquarium Computer Cooling – Make your PC sleep with the fishes

Freak out your housemates with this DIY Aquarium Computer Cooling system. Everything, including the power supply is in the tank, all except the hard drives. The tank is filled with non-conducting mineral oil which is moved around the tank via the plain old cooling fans, albeit much slower. World’s Most Realistic Vector Art – unbelievably stunning artwork pretending to be photos

This page featuring the World’s Most Realistic Vector Art has been around for a while but we’ve not seen it before, and judging by the acres of comments it’s still pretty darn impressive.   If you really want your mind blown, check out the artist Bert Monroy on there, who does his work without tracing. His image of a train station for example took 11 months to finish (2000 hours), contains over 15,000 individual Photoshop layers and 250,000 paths. Just unbelievable….

The Mona Lisa – Renaissance meets e-recycling

Just when you thought you’d seen it all. In the epitome of recycling, Taiwan based ASUS has recreated the Mona Lisa – using old PC motherboards and computer chips.
