We remember a day when browsers didn’t have tabs. If you wanted to visit two sites at once, you had to open another window. However, tabs are a technology we got behind in a big way, sometimes resulting in more tabs open than one human could possibly handle all at once. Thankfully, Chrome users now have a way to tidy up the tab-hoarding.

Search engines have come a long way, leaving the ancient days of Boolean back with Betamax tapes, but it seems like there’s always at least one friend that doesn’t get how simple searching is now. Whether you actually know someone who’s lost with Google or you just want to have a quick laugh, this is the search engine you need.
For some strange reason there’s a growing school of thought that says we all want to link together our tablet computers and mobile phones to create synchronized speakers that will play audio together in a group. Samsung probably started it with its Group Play concept, but we’re struggling to work out how it becomes useful in the real world.
There are two things we can never get enough of in this world. Battery life and data bandwidth. OK, there are probably a few more, but let’s try and keep this simple shall we? WordPress is rapidly becoming one of the most popular and versatile ways to create websites in general, not just blogs. The ease of installation, huge number of plugins and massive support community make it easy to get up and running with a WP site in hours. But one thing that’s harder to do is convert an existing website design into a WordPress theme, which usually involves hiring an expensive coder/designer.
Everyone knows there’s a bunch of cool stuff on YouTube nowadays, including movies, documentaries and the rest. The only problem is it’s kind of hard to find. Yes you can do a search, but then you’re typically wading through lots of junk to get to the gold, and even category searches don’t really improve things much. But now there’s another very cool option.
What can be better on a rainy Sunday than kicking back on the couch, controller in hand to spend a few hours with your favorite video game. We’re PC gamers by choice, but we realize that there are those unfortunate souls who prefer consoles, and we’re OK with that. What we’re not OK with is the problem of old games littering up the room, when they could be put to better use as recycled product to help us get newer…
Yeah times are weird all right. It’s not enough that we’re using random strangers as our taxi drivers with services like Uber, or hoteliers…thanks AirBnB, or even as our bankers, but now we’re apparently going to be able to send parcels around the world using people we don’t know too.
