Tzukuri – the first sunglasses which you can’t lose

Almost everyone has had that moment when they’ve managed to leave behind a perfect pair of sunglasses. On a chair, table, bus, taxi, club or grassy knoll. Sunglasses never ever seem to break, they just disappear. As if their time with you is over and they’re on to brighter horizons. We think it’s some kind of a conspiracy with odd socks, but that’s probably a story best left to another time. It’s more likely you just forgot them in a…

Legion Meter – charge your phone at light speed

This always happens. I look at my phone and it’s at some ridiculously low battery level. Then I look at the clock and realize I don’t have time to charge it before I have to run off and do some highly important task. I either leave with a dying phone or see what I can get from five minutes plugged in. The Legion Meter plans to put a stop to this.

The Fridge – keeping you posted on when your food is due to go post date

I don’t generally share paid apps, since you can usually find something to do the same job for free, but this one should actually help you save money by keeping you from throwing out your perishables before their time. Because, let’s face it, it’s really hard to remember that those avocados don’t last forever. The Fridge app keeps you updated on when your fresh foods are about to go bad on you.

Noise Down – restore some Zen peace in your life [Freeware]

I’m not sure how your life goes, but from where I stand things can get really noisy, really fast. I’m talking about loud arguments, kid clamor, workplace cacophony and all that kind of stuff. Like Jeff Goldblum said, “oooh, ahhh, that’s how it always starts. Then later there’s running and screaming”. Sometimes I feel like an extra in Jurassic Park. But now there’s an app which can hopefully help me restore a little calm in my life. Maybe.
