Fullscreen Anything – maximize images, videos and games on any site using this free Chrome extension [Freeware]

There are times when it would be nice to see something on a website in a larger version, even when there’s no obvious way to do it. For example, if you enjoy playing flash games on some of the free sites, they’re often stuck in small boxes instead of full screen, which makes them less immersive.

Signal – edit your inbox and turn your email messages into a useful To-Do list [Freeware]

For many people email is more than just a communication tool, it’s actually a whole way of life. Christmas Budget Planner – take the stress out of the holiday with this handy free app [Freeware]

There’s a lot of stress flying around at this time of the year. Driven by an insane desire to ‘enjoy at all costs’, we seem to run around like headless chickens searching, planning, scheduling and just plain gorging until we’re close to exploding with all the fun and hassle. Weird.

We love tiny useful tools which get things done, and luckily for us there are a lot of great coders out there who indulge our passion and deliver cool stuff all the time. One such person is Nicke Manarin who has come up with a doozy of an open source program which we think has a great future.

Unchecky – automatically avoid installing nasty toolbars when you install software on your computer [Freeware]

One of the nastiest features of the current software download market, especially with free software, is the installation of toolbars and other 3rd party components onto your computer without your explicit agreement. Most of the time, these add-ons are pushed onto people’s computers because they don’t read the terms as they are installing, and just click Yes to everything. Bad idea!!

Cities are huge places by definition, and if you’ve ever found yourself adrift in a big one you’ll know how frustrating and unsettling that can be. The problem is you don’t know the layout, the orientation and most especially the transport system.
