Following up on the Weeno site of before, here’s the How to: By You site. You fill in the knowledge – how to make a grilled cheese sandwich, catch fish, set up your own website etc etc. Sort of a collaborative blog but with explanations/advice rather than comments. I know that I wasn’t going to feature any more iPod type clones, but the Toshiba Gigabeat [warning: Japanese] looks funky enough to warrant closer attention. The Advanced Theft System from Future Data Systems (who don’t appear to have a Web site – tsk) is a car alarm system which calls the owner’s mobile phone immediately the car is snatched. The 420.00 system then continues to text the owner with GPS map coordinates to help police locate it. Oh yeah, and the owner can text back to immobilise the engine when the car is next halted.
