Nissan toys?

Now what on earth is Nissan doing making ‘Light Emitting Sticks‘? More to the point, I suppose – what and why? ‘When bumped on the desk or shaken in a container, it generates electricity through the shock, and the LED becomes luminous by itself.’

Mobile media.

Panasonic’s new DVD-LX8 [Babel] portable DVD player is something of a fully loaded beast. As well as sporting a good sized 9 inch LCD screen, it also has an SD slot for playing back still images, video, music etc, as well as an integral TV tuner for catching Friends on the bus. You can even swivel and fold the screen back to make it a sort of flat tablet size for viewing. Also plays MP3 ,VCD and DVD-R discs. Due…

Mouse skatez.

Priced at an incredibly reasonable 4.99. Quake heads only I suspect. ‘these stick one [sic] feet covers provide has super low friction contact area between mouse and pad.’

George jumps.

Good for George Michael. Giving away his tunes for free on the Net. Now if only more major names – perhaps those with really strong, devoted and huge fan bases – would follow suit in some way or another, then maybe the record labels would start to get the message. Hmmph…or maybe not!
