New Sustainable Power in Fukushima – government plans solar and wind farms in area

Nuclear power is really controversial. Sure it’s clean but when it goes bad, it goes bad big. Such is the case for the plant in Fukushima, famous for leaking radiation after earthquake and tsunami damage. The government isn’t bringing the plant back but energy generation is returning to the area with new, sustainable energy plans.

John Lewis Switches Biomethane – fleet will run on cow poo, and that’s great!

Sure cows produce emissions but did you know you could use their poop as fuel? John Lewis is switching their fleet over to carbon neutral cow manure in 2021. Gross? Kind of, yes. But also better for the environment which is really the important thing here. The new biomethane is a switch over from rotting vegetables.
