You’re stuck in a railway station and can’t find out how to buy a ticket because you can’t speak the language? Easy peasy. Just enter in the phrase ‘where is the ticket office?’ into the little Universal Translator gizmo and out should come a translation in any one of three major languages – German, French, Spanish. I say should, because I haven’t had a chance to test it out yet, I’ll know more as and when I do. In the meantime have 179.95 ready.

Oh and one more interesting thing. If you back out of the online purchase at the shopping trolley, the site asks you to offer your own bid on the product, which the company may accept. Now that is a novel application of ecommerce. :-)

Thanks to Mike for the link.
