Can you use P2P technology to help one another with questions and problems and the like, as opposed to just swapping files around? Check out the site at P2PQ and see what you think. The idea is that you post a long question and someone somewhere who’s on the network answers it if they know the answer. Weird? Maybe. Or maybe amazing.

While we’re on the subject of P2P, this site has a whole bunch of P2P services which look interesting. I particularly like things like the IM-Live service from Hotcomm, which demonstrates just how powerful P2P can be when you remove the technology from the media hyped and emotive file sharing arena. Cool Ben dug out the links.

My favourite P2P program? Ermster, now you can share those mouth wateringly delicious recipes with all and sundry around the globe, and at the touch of a button. :-)
